AYZIK FLAYSHER (b. ca. 1929)
He came
from Rozhishtsh (Pol., Rożyszcze; Ukr., Rozhyshche), Poland. During the Nazi
occupation in WWII, he was confined in the Rożyszcze ghetto, where he hid in an attic. He composed a poem about the attic which was
published in Leo Finkelshteyn’s volume, Pidyen-hashem (Redemption of the Lord), on p. 41. Further biographic details remain unknown.
