MASHE MEKHANIK (d. 1944 or 1945)

            She came from Oshmene (Oshmiany), near Vilna.  In Sh. Katsherginski’s anthology, Lider fun di getos un lagern (Songs from the ghettos and camps), one will find a poem of hers entitled “In lager shtrasenhof” (In the Strassenhof concentration camp).  She died under the Nazis.
