His family came from Russia. He immigrated to the United States and
graduated as a doctor of medicine, practicing for many years in
Philadelphia. He was the author of Der idisher doktor un zayne eltern (The
Jewish doctor and his parents) (Philadelphia, 1935), 159 pp.
