BUNEM TSUKER (b. July 29, 1907)
He was
born in Radom, Poland. From his youth he
was living in Brussels, Belgium. For a
time he supported himself in the coal mines of Charleroi, Belgium. He left for Israel and later returned to
Brussels. He published poetry in: Literarishe bleter (Literary leaves) in
Warsaw; and Belgishe bleter (Belgian
leaves), edited by Beynish Zilbershteyn.
He also contributed to: Gerangl
(Struggle) in Brussels; Yidisher kuryer
(Jewish courier) in Chicago; Idisher
zhurnal (Jewish journal) in Toronto; Der
veg (The way) in Mexico City; and Yisroel-shtime
(Voice of Israel) in Tel Aviv. In book
form: Vokhndike teg (Weekly days),
poetry (Brussels, 1936), 76 pp. He
survived WWII in Brussels.
