MAKS (MAX) FREYLIKH (b. December 18, 1904)
He was
born in Blendov (Błędów), near Warsaw, Poland. He received a traditional education. From his early years, he was active in the
Labor Zionist movement. He made his way
to Havana, Cuba, and from there to Caracas, Venezuela in 1931. He began publishing in 1936 in Forverts (Forward) in New York. In later years he also published in Heymish (Familiar) and Yidishe tsaytung (Jewish newspaper) in
Tel Aviv; Meksikaner lebn (Mexican
life) in Mexico City; and Undzer gedank
(Our thoughts) and Venezueler vokhnblat
(Venezuela weekly newspaper) in Caracas.
He was last living in Caracas, Venezuela.
