YISROEL (SROLKE) KOT


YISROEL (SROLKE) KOT (b. 1916)
            He was born in Bialystok.  He studied in religious elementary school and public school.  In 1941 he was confined in the Bialystok ghetto.  He later joined the local partisans.  In 1947 he settled in Argentina.  He described his war experiences in Khurbn byalistok (The Holocaust in Bialystok) (Buenos Aires, 1947), 148 pp.  He was last living in Argentina.
