MENKHEM MENDL KAMENITSER
He was
from Moliev (Mogilev). From 1833 he was
living for several years in the land of Israel.
He was the author of Korot haitim
(Chronicles) which was published in Hebrew (Vilna, 1840) and in Yiddish
(Warsaw, 1841). He recounts in it as an
eyewitness the events in the Jewish settlement over the years 1833-1838.
