ROKHL-HENE KOSITSA

ROKHL-HENE KOSITSA (b. 1868)

            She was born in the colony Zakova (Żakowo), near Grodno.  She came to the United States in 1906.  She was the author of Zikhroynes fun a byalistoker froy (Memoirs of a Bialystok woman) (Los Angeles, 1964), 163 pp.  She began writing this book at age eighty-six.  She turned 100 years of age in 1968.
