YUDE-ARYE TSUKER (ca. 1910-ca. 1942)
He was
born in Shedlets (Siedlce), Poland. He
served as director of the local Jewish bank in Siedlce. He began at an early age to write for Siedlce’s
Undzer veg (Our way), organ of
Agudat-Yisrael, using the pen names Sholem Yelin and M. Shvartsman, in which he
published treatments of general Jewish community matters. He also contributed to Togblat (Daily newspaper) in Warsaw. He was murdered with his family around 1942
by the Germans.
