GERSHON MORGENSHTEYN

GERSHON MORGENSHTEYN (September 4, 1909-October 6, 1978)
            A journalist, he was born in Belz, Bessarabia.  He wrote cultural and literary articles.  He was active in the French resistance movement against the Nazis and edited the Communist underground publication Unzer vort (Our word).  He was also editor of Naye prese (New press) from 1945 until his death.  He also used the pseudonym Albert Yudin.  He died in Paris.
