SHMUEL GOLBURT (b. 1908)
He was born in Kovno and was a
student at Tarbut schools. He was an
active Zionist. During WWII, he was in
the Kovno ghetto as well as in concentration camps. After the war he was living in Munich where
he was a co-founder and later a member of the central committee of the General
Zionist Organization in Germany. He was
also a co-founder and contributor to the weekly newspaper Tsienistishe
shtime (Zionist voice) in Munich (1947-1949), and the author of Dos geto
in flamen (The ghetto in flames) (Munich, 1948), 208 pp. He was living in Israel.
