YITSKHOK FURMANSKI (1903-August 24, 1963)
He was
born in Warsaw. He studied in a secular
high school and was active in Hashomer Hatsair (The young guard). For several years, he worked in the land of
Israel. From 1933 he was living in
France, studying engineering at the University of Nancy. He was held in deportation (1942-1944). He was a member of the editorial board of and
a contributor to Naye prese (New
press). In it he published reportage
pieces, articles, and the like. He died in
Paris.
