She came from Odessa. In the 1860s she was a contributor to Kol mevaser (Herald) in Odessa (1862-1872), in which, among other items, she published poetry and fables, several of which were reprinted in the anthology Fargesene lider (Forgotten poems) (Moscow, 1939).
