DOV GRINBERG

DOV GRINBERG
He was the author of a short book in Yiddish, entitled Shagas arye (Roar of the “lion”), “written and published by Dov ben…Tsvi Grinberg, New York, 1911,” 18 pp.  This work was a sermon in Yiddish from the nineteenth century, twisted with rhymes, Yiddish verses from Song of Songs and Psalms.  Nothing is known of the author.  Perhaps he was the son of Moshe-Tsevi Grinberg, author of a Hebrew religious text, Moatsot vedaat (Opinions and knowledge), two parts (Berdichev, 1898).
