MOYSHE KORNFELD (MAURICE CORNFIELD)
He was a
rabbi who emigrated to the United States.
He served as director of the Milwaukee Talmud-Torah and preacher at
Congregation “Anshe Sfard.” He published
articles in Vilna’s Dos vort (The
word) and Der leben (The life), among
others. He was the author of Droshes in idish af khumesh breyshes un fir ale yomim toyvim (Sermons in
Yiddish on the book of Genesis and four other holidays) (Kėdainiai: Movshovits
un Kohen, 1933), 252 pp.; Droshes af
yidish af farsheydene angelegenheytn (Sermons in Yiddish on various
matters) (Milwaukee: Spiegel, 1939), 117 pp.
