BRUNO KORMAN
He wrote
his doctoral dissertation on the Esther paraphrase held in the Hamburg
municipal library. He dwelt upon the Old
Yiddish phonetics in this manuscript. It
was published as a book: Die Reimtechnik
der Estherparaphrase Cod. Hamburg. 144: Beitrag zur Erschliessung des
altjiddischen Lautsystems (The rhyming technique of the Esther Paraphrase
Codex Hamburg. 144: Contribution to the development of the Old Yiddish sound
system) (Kolomea: University of Hamburg, 1930), 64 pp.
