GITL-RIVKE KUSHELEVITSH (1891-1980)
Born in
Kretinge (Kretingalė), Lithuania, she was a rabbi’s wife
and daughter of Rabbi Ben-Tsien Yankev Levitan.
She lived in Kelm (Kelmė, in Lithuania), Kovno, and from 1927 the Bronx. She was the author of: Mitnakhtige gedanken (Reflections at midnight), poetry (New York,
1976), 132 pp. She died in the Bronx.
