LEVIN (1908)
He was born in Minsk district,
Byelorussia. He attended religious
elementary school and graduated from a Russian school. He was an artist in the Minsk Yiddish State
Theater. He authored the plays: Leybke soldat (Leybke, the soldier)
(Minsk, 1940); Nekome (Revenge), a
play (Minsk, 1941); and other works, produced by the Minsk Yiddish
Theater. In book form: Vazakes (Minsk: State Publishers, 1938),
53 pp. During WWII he was evacuated to
Novosibirsk where he staged Yiddish theater. He was last living in the Soviet Union.
