YOYNE (YONA) TSVIKL
            He came from Zlatshev (Zolochiv), Galicia.  He was a low-level merchant and synagogue prayer leader.  Into Yiddish he translated Sabbath and holiday songs, prayers and liturgical poems of his own.  He published Sefer yedid nefesh (Beloved of the soul) (Zolochiv, 1864), 56 pp., last published edition (New York, 1922).  Further information remains unknown.
