EMIL DORIAN

EMIL DORIAN (February 1893-1957)[1]
            He was born in Bucharest.  His original name was Izidor Lustig.  He authored: Antologie de poezie idiş (Anthology of Yiddish poetry [in Romanian]), 500 poems.  He also translated into Romanian: Der yidisher humor (Yiddish humor) (Bucharest, 1926); and Eliezer Shteynbarg’s Mesholim (Fables) (Bucharest, 1947).  Among his pseudonyms: M. Prunk and Dr. Trifnial.  He died in Bucharest.
