HOF (d. 1943)
He was born in Riga. On the eve of WWII, he completed his
doctorate from the philosophy faculty [of the University of Latvia?]. He was the author of Yiddish opera librettos
and (together with the composer Strok) of the opera Di yidn in mitsraim (The Jews in Egypt). He died in the Riga ghetto.
