DOVID DAVIS

DOVID DAVIS (b. August 1884)
            He was born in Ternivke (Ternivka), Ukraine.  His original surname was Yampolski.  He studied in religious primary school and in a synagogue.  In 1900 he moved to Nemirov, Ukraine, and in 1905 he emigrated to Atlanta in the United States.  In book form: In gang fun di yorn, zikhroynes fun beyde zaytn yam (Over the course of years, memoirs from both sides of the sea) (Tel Aviv: Nay lebn, 1974), 240 pp.
