FARBMAN (February 18, 1891-November 20, 1921)
He was born in Tarnobrzeg, Galicia, and
worked as a watchmaker. His feet were
incapacitated, and he walked with crutches.
He died of a heart attack. His
poems, sketches, and articles were published in Lemberg’s Togblat (Daily newspaper) and mainly in Sanok’s Folks fraynd (Friend of the people), as
well as in Shpirn’s Yidishe zamlbukher
(Yidishe anthologies) and elsewhere.
