ABE FALIKMAN (b. January 19, 1892)
He was born in Novoselits
(Novoseltsa), Bessarabia. He
was among the first “Tseire Tsiyon” (Young Zionists) in Bessarabia. He wrote for: Hatsfira (The siren); Unzer
tsayt (Out times) in Kishinev; Tshernovitser
bleter (Czernowitz leaves) in Czernowitz; and Yeshurun (Jeshurun) in Bucharest; among others. He prepared for publication a book of
remembrance for his hometown and a volume to remember his fallen son. He was last living in Israel.
