ZEV RABINOVITSH (WOLF ZEEV RABINOWITSCH) (December 11, 1900-1991)
He was
born in Pinsk. He graduated from medical
school in Königsberg. He worked there as
a doctor, later in Berlin and Köln. In 1933
he made aliya to the land of Israel and practiced medicine in Haifa. He published research work in Hebrew,
English, and German. In Yiddish he
published articles on popular medicine in Folks-gezunt
(Popular health) in Vilna (1926-1928) and historical articles in Pinsker shtime (Voice of Pinsk)
(1930-1938) and in Historishe shriftn
(Historical writings) (Vilna) 2 (1937).
He edited Pinsk, sefer edut
vezikaron (Pinsk, volume of testimony and memoir) (Tel Aviv, 1973-1977) in
Yiddish, Hebrew, and English.
