MOYSHE YANOVSKI

MOYSHE YANOVSKI (1916-1943)
            He was born in Belkhatov (Bełchatów), near Lodz, Poland.  He worked as a weaver.  In 1935 he was selected to be chairman of Tseire emune yisrael (Young believers in Israel) in Bełchatów.  He wrote poetry, and one of his poems, “Hent” (Hands), was republished in Belkhatover yizker-bukh (Remembrance volume for Bełchatów).  He was killed around 1943 in the Chełmno death camp.
