BOREKH TSHUBINSKI

BOREKH TSHUBINSKI (ca. 1905-February 16, 1976)
            He frequently wrote articles on both general and literary topics for Fray arbeter-shtime (Free voice of labor) in New York.  For one year (1959), he was its editor.  He also contributed to the Leksikon fun der nayer yidisher literatur (Biographical dictionary of modern Yiddish literature), vols. 1-4, and the Groyser yidisher verterbukh (Great Yiddish dictionary) (1961-).  He translated Rudolf Rocker’s Yugnt fun a rebel (Youth of a rebel) (Buenos Aires, 1965), 287 pp.  In book form: Khurbn levertov, a matseyve levertov un levertover kdoyshim (The Holocaust in Lubartów, a gravestone for Lubartów and its martyrs) (Paris, 1947), 118 pp.  He died in New York.
