MIRIAM YOLON

MIRIAM YOLON (b. August 21, 1900)
            She was a Hebrew poetess, born in Potoki, Russia.  From 1920 she was living in Israel.  She began writing in Russian; in Israel she switched over to Hebrew, and she also began publishing poems there in Yiddish.  From 1934 she wrote poems and stories for children and published a series of children’s books.
