YONAS (b. ca. 1920)
He was born in Jassy (Iași),
Romania, where he worked as a teacher.
Around 1950 he made aliya to Israel.
He published a Romanian anthology of Jewish humor (Jassy, 1947). He was the author of a booklet entitled Biternish, opklangen (Bitterness,
echoes) (Jassy, 1945-1947), comprised of poems from the Holocaust.
