FEYGE-ROKHL BENET

FEYGE-ROKHL BENET (1898-1979
            She was born in Skernyevits (Skierniewice), Poland.  She later lived in Lodz and principally in Radom.  From 1938 she was in Melbourne, Australia.  She wrote memoirs in Radomer shtime (Voice of Radom), Keneder odler (Canadian eagle) in Montreal, and Di oystralishe yidishe nayes (The Australian Jewish news) in Melbourne.  She also authored: Dos iz mayn lebn (This is my life) (Melbourne, 1975), 326, 13 pp.  She died in Melbourne.
