BEN-TSVI
BERNSHTEYN (BEN-ZVI BERNSTEIN) (d. ca. 1981)
He was born in Premishlan (Peremyshlyany),
Galicia. He studied in religious elementary
school. He survived Hitler’s Holocaust,
and then emigrated to London, later making aliya to Israel. In book form: Zikhroynes un geshtaltn (Memoirs and images) (London-Tel Aviv,
1962, 1982), 2 vols. In Hebrew: Hahagada haḥadasha
(The new Hagadah) (London, 1944); Temunot
meḥaye amenu (Images from our lives) (London,
1948). He died in Netanya, Israel.
