AVROM TSIMERMAN


AVROM TSIMERMAN (b. 1892)
            He was born in Warsaw, Poland.  He studied in religious elementary school.  At age nineteen he joined a brother in London.  By trade he was a carpenter.  He was a Zionist leader and founded the first Jewish national youth movement in London.  He wrote about the Jewish youth movement in London-based Yiddish newspapers.  In book form: Bletlekh fun mayne zikhroynes (Pages drawn from my memoirs) (London: Superior Printers, 1960), 79 pp.
