FILIP KOVALEK
He was a
publisher. He authored a booklet of
poems: Hanevel / Di layer (The
harp/lyre), in Yiddish with parallel translation into Hebrew, “composed in the
years 1879-1880” (Husiatyn: Filip
Kovalek, Publ., 1908), 85 pp. It is
poetry of a folksong style, fit for a wedding entertainer.
