Nay Zhager (Žagarė), Lithuania.
He was the author of Der blinder
eydes (The blind witness), “a frightful story encountered in America in
years past. And, because it is very
interesting, I have translated it from the Viennese newspaper in which was
written. It should be read in full, and
I swear by heaven and earth that nothing has been hidden from view” (Vilna,
1878), 16 pp.
