MOYSHE ZUBERMAN

MOYSHE ZUBERMAN
            He was born in Mezritsh (Międzyrzecz), into a family of a poor bakery worker.  He studied in religious elementary school, a Talmud Torah, and later in the Tachkemoni School in Warsaw where he gained ordination into the rabbinate.  He published articles and translations from ancient and modern Hebrew literature and poetry in Mezritsher tribune (Mezritsh tribune) and Mezritsher vokhnblat (Mezritsh weekly newspaper), and elsewhere (1928-1936).  He was killed by the Nazis in the Warsaw Ghetto.
