AVROM ROZENBERG (October 6, 1905-September 21, 1973)
He was
born in Lublin. He graduated from a
secular Jewish school. From 1920 he was
living in Montreal. He was active in leftist
circles. In 1924 he began writing about
contemporary issues and literary matters for Der hamer (The hammer). For
many years he was a co-editor of Morgn-frayhayt
(Morning freedom) in New York and Vokhnblat
(Weekly newspaper) in Toronto. He died
in Montreal.
