RIFOEL RAPOPORT (b. January 6, 1899)
He was
born in Plozov (Płoszów),
Poland. He studied in the synagogue
study hall until age seventeen. In 1920
he matriculated as an external student from a German high school in Troppau,
Silesia. In 1924 he graduated from the
philosophy department of the University of Vienna. He published poetry and stories under the
title Farn toyer (At the gate)
