Y. KH. YUDELEVITSH

            He was born in Vilna, and he wrote the chronicle and the sports news for Vilna’s Ovnt-kuryer (Evening courier), edited by A. Y. Grodzenski, from 1926 until 1939.  He wrote as well for the Polish press.  When the Red Army entered Vilna in 1939, he contributed to the local Soviet Russian and Polish newspapers.  He spent the war years in Russia, returning afterward to Vilna and contributing to the Russian press.
