MENOAKH
PRAGER (b. ca. 1910)
He came from a town near Telts
(Telz), Lithuania. He studied in
yeshivas. In the early 1930s, just as he
left the yeshiva and arrived in Kovno, he became a member of the young poets’
group. He published lyrical poems in: Folksblat (People’s newspaper), Yudishe shtime (Jewish voice), the
anthology Toyern (Gates) (1937), and
the collection Naye bleter (New
sheets) (1939) in Kovno. Following the
Nazi invasion of Russia in the summer of 1941, there has been no further
information about him.
