He was born in Ostrov (Ostrów), Poland. He studied in religious elementary schools
and with the local rabbi, and he also acquired secular subject matter. He later moved to Bialystok and was active in
the distribution office of the city. He
published articles on political matters in the local press and was a member of the
literary circle in Bialystok. Further
information remains unknown.
