A. YUDES

A. YUDES (1892-1943)
            He was born in Dvinsk (Daugavpils), Latvia.  He published in Dos folk (The people), later in Frimorgn (Morning), a daily newspaper in Riga, humorous sketches entitled “Breklekh” (Scraps).  During the Nazi occupation, he was confined in the Rezhitse (Rēzekne) ghetto, and he was murdered in a massacre committed there.
