SVEY (June 1, 1880-August 31, 1954)
He was born in Dvinsk (Dinaburg, Daugavpils), Byelorussia. He served as editor of Idishe velt (Jewish world) in Cleveland, a daily newspaper until
1943, a weekly until 1953, and thereafter a monthly. He died in Cincinnati.
