H.
LIPSET (1876-1921)
The adopted name of H. Lifshits, he
came from Lithuania. At the end of the
nineteenth century, he moved to the United States. For many years he was news editor and feature
writer for Yidishes tageblat (Jewish
daily newspaper) in New York. He also
published under such pseudonyms as: H. Litvak and Gamliel. He was thought to have died in Florida.
