LEYBL BOTVINIK

LEYBL BOTVINIK (b. January 9, 1959)
            Born in Montreal, he graduated from the Peretz School and Bialik Middle School in Montreal and Vanier College.  He studied computer science.  His first publication was a satire in Yugntruf (Appeal for Yiddish) in New York (September 1974).  Over the years 1978-1982, he published with his father Dovid the periodical Der nayer dor (The new generation)—five issues appeared.  In book form: Di geheyme shlikhes (The secret mission) (Montreal, 1980), 101 pp.
