MEYER GOLDOVSKI (MORRIS GOLDOWSKY)

MEYER GOLDOVSKI (MORRIS GOLDOWSKY) (b. April 1884)

            He was born in Loyev (Loyew), Byelorussia.  He studied in religious primary school and yeshiva.  In 1905 he emigrated to the United States, where he was active in the union movement.  In book form: Fun vaytn amol un haynt, mayne 60 yor lebn un kamf in der arbeter-bavegung (From the distant past and now, my sixty years of life and struggle in the workers’ movement) (New York, 1959), 276 pp.
