AVROM BRENER

AVROM BRENER (b. May 10, 1897)
            He was born in Vishnev (Vishnevo), Volhynia.  He came from a Hassidic home.  After WWII he emigrated to Brazil.  He wrote stories in Haynt (Today) in Montevideo, Ilustrirte literarishe bleter (Illustrated literary pages) in Buenos Aires, Nayer moment (New moment) in São Paolo.  His long story, “R. Pinkhesl” (Rabbi Pinkhesl) was serialized in Yidishe tsaytung (Jewish newspaper) in Tel Aviv.  He died in Rio de Janeiro.
