TSVI-YUDE
LEOPOLD (TSY״L) (b. 1871)
He was born in Veytsen [Vác], Hungary. He worked as a teacher and a
businessman. From 1909 he was editor in Sighet-Marmației of the weekly newspaper Yidishes blatt (Jewish newspaper), continued in Billitser’s Yidishe tsaytung (Jewish newspaper)
which was published until the fall of 1912.
With the outbreak of WWI, Leopold returned to the city of his birth
where he was a preacher.
