ELIYAHU IZGUR (b. 1882)
Born in Berezina, Byelorussia. He started publishing in Russian in the
provincial press as well as in Byelorussian in Vilna publications after the
1905 Revolution. In 1904 he published in
Yiddish some popular scientific articles in the yearbook Progres
(Progress), as well as poems in various periodicals, particularly in
Vilna. In book form: Shlofloze nekht,
lider (Sleepless nights, poems), vol. 1 (Warsaw, 1910).
