YANKEV KLEYN
He was
the chief bookkeeper at Avraham-Yosef Publishers, which had an immense print
shop. In 1872 he became the second
editor of the biweekly journal Der
izraelit (The Israelite) (in Yiddish 1969-1872, later in German).
