TUVYE KRASHINSKI (1899-February 4, 1974)
He was born
in Cherni, near Brisk (Brest), Lithuania [now, Belarus]. He studied with itinerant tutors and in the
Slobodka yeshiva. In 1921 he traveled to
the land of Israel and in 1924 to Argentina.
He was active in the Zionist socialist movement and in general Jewish life. His written articles in various periodicals
appeared in book form under the title Gesheenishn un perzenlekhkeytn (Events and personalities) (Buenos
Aires: Tenuat haavoda hatsiyonit, 1969), 254 pp. He died in Buenos Aires.
